3L circulating fountain · Ultra-quiet smart pump · 7 filters included · White or Blue

Your cat licks the dripping tap and ignores the bowl. That's not fussiness — it's instinct. Running water is what they're wired for.

The PawSpring is a 3-litre circulating water fountain for cats and small dogs. The pump keeps water moving continuously — which is exactly what triggers a cat's drinking instinct, and why most cats drink noticeably more from a fountain than from a static bowl. That's not a marketing claim. It's the reason every vet nurse recommends fountains for cats prone to urinary or kidney issues.

This is a tidy, well-built version of that idea. The pump runs near-silently, the LED ring shows the water level in low light, the carbon filter catches hair and debris between cleans, and seven replacement filters come in the box — roughly 6 to 12 months of filter supply before you need to reorder. White or blue. Moulded paw print on the lid.

What makes it work

💧 Continuous circulation

The pump keeps water moving constantly. Cats' instincts flag still water as potentially unsafe — running water is the signal that it's fresh and clean. Most cats switch to drinking significantly more within a few days of using a fountain.

🔴 Smart pump indicator

The pump's built-in LED tells you exactly what's happening: white light means the water level is fine, red means it's running low. When the reservoir runs completely dry, the pump shuts itself off automatically — protecting the motor from the dry-running damage that kills cheap fountains early.

🌙 Near-silent at night

Typically under 30dB in normal operation — below a quiet library. You'll hear the soft trickle of water (which is the whole point) but no pump buzz, clicking, or motor hum. The LED ring is a soft underglow, not a glaring nightlight. It fades into the room.

🐾 Carbon filtration

The replaceable activated-carbon disc filters hair, debris and odour as the water circulates. It keeps the water cleaner between cleans than a static bowl. Replace every 4–6 weeks — and seven filters come in the box, so you're stocked for the next 6–12 months from day one.

Worth knowing

Maintenance: a fountain is not a fit-and-forget device. Clean the pump, basin and lid weekly and replace the filter every 4–6 weeks to keep the water genuinely clean. Skipping cleaning defeats the point of using a fountain at all.

Power cable: USB-corded — keep the cable and adapter away from water and out of reach of pets who chew cables.

Vet advice: a fountain encourages drinking but is not a substitute for veterinary care. If your pet shows signs of dehydration (lethargy, sunken eyes, sticky gums), speak to a vet.

Questions & answers

Will my cat actually use it?

Most cats take to a fountain within a few days. A few are nervous of the sound or moving water at first — leave both the fountain and their old water bowl out for the first week so they can choose, then gradually phase the static bowl out once they're using the fountain reliably.

What does the red light mean?

The pump has a built-in water-level indicator. White light means everything is fine. Red means the water is running low — top it up soon. When the reservoir is completely empty, the pump shuts itself off automatically to prevent dry-running damage. Once you refill it, it restarts on its own.

How many filters are included, and when do I need to replace them?

Seven filters come in the box — roughly 6–12 months of supply depending on how many pets you have. Replace each one every 4–6 weeks; sooner if you have long-haired cats or multiple pets, as fur clogs the filter faster. When you run out, replacement packs are stocked alongside this product.

How loud is the pump really?

Typically under 30dB in normal operation — quieter than a whisper at one metre. You'll hear a soft trickle of water, but no pump buzz or motor hum. If it starts making noise after a few months, it usually needs cleaning — debris in the impeller is the most common cause and takes two minutes to fix.

Is it safe for kittens and small dogs?

Yes — the basin is shallow and the design is stable when full. Supervise kittens for the first few uses until they're comfortable around the moving water. For dogs, suitable for toy and small breeds; medium and large breeds will drain 3 litres too quickly to be practical.

White or blue?

Same fountain, same spec — just the colour of the outer body differs. White is the more discreet choice and disappears into a kitchen. Blue makes more of a statement and suits minimal modern interiors. Pick whichever sits best in the spot you have in mind.

How much does it cost to run?

The pump is a low-wattage USB device — running cost is pennies per month, less than boiling a kettle once.

Can I return it if it's not right?
