Is it "Mum" or "Mom"?
Both, cleverly — the middle letter is a paw print, so it reads naturally as Mum in the UK and Mom in the US. The dog decides the spelling.
Which colour shows the design best?
Soft Cream is our favourite — the warm tone makes the brown portrait glow. White gives the crispest contrast, Heather Peach picks up the warm tones in the spaniel's coat, and Heather Mauve is the one for pink-and-purple wardrobes.
Will the print crack or fade in the wash?
No — the design is printed directly into the cotton fibres rather than pressed on top, so there's nothing to crack or peel. Wash cold, inside out, and avoid ironing directly over the print.
