PawTidy™ bags are standard polyethylene — thicker than the freebies you get at the supermarket, strong enough to scoop, knot, and carry without tearing. They are not certified compostable or biodegradable, and we don’t claim to be. If certified compostable matters to you (EN 13432, OK Compost HOME, BPI), buy a certified brand — you’ll pay more, but you’ll get what it says on the box.

Are these strong enough for big-dog deposits?
Yes — the 22 × 29 cm size handles small to large breeds, and the gauge is thicker than the bags you get at the supermarket checkout. For very large breeds (Goldens, GSDs, Labs at full output), we recommend doubling-up the bag — a habit most large-breed owners are already in regardless of brand.
How does the bone dispenser attach?
A small clip on the back fits any lead handle, harness D-ring, belt loop, or rucksack strap. Load one roll inside, feed the first bag through the slot, and the next bag follows when you tear off the first. One-handed, gloves on, no fumbling.
Can I bin these in the council compost / food waste bin?
No — standard polyethylene goes in general waste, the same as supermarket carrier bags. UK councils don’t accept dog waste in food/garden compost streams regardless of bag type. Some councils provide dedicated dog-waste bins on parks and walking routes — use those when available.
What’s the price per bag?
