How to use it
Choose the grinding mode for your pet's size by turning the cover. Grind for less than 5 seconds at a time, check the nail often and adjust your angle. Pay close attention to where the blood vessel (the quick) sits so you do not grind too far, which is easier to see on light-coloured nails. Wipe the head clean with a cloth after use.
- Introduce it slowly. Let your pet sniff it while it is switched off, then try one nail on a calm day.
- Grinding too much can still cause discomfort or bleeding. Go little by little, and keep styptic powder to hand just in case.
- If your pet is very anxious, stop and ask your vet or groomer for advice.
- Noise is low, not silent, and each pet reacts differently.

Used carefully in short bursts it should not hurt, but we cannot promise it is painless for every pet. Go slowly and stop if your pet is uncomfortable.
Which pets can I use it on?
The supplier lists dogs, cats and other small pets such as rabbits and guinea pigs. Choose the grinding mode that fits your pet's size.
Can I use it while it charges?
Yes, the USB-C port lets you keep using it while it is plugged in.
Can I replace the grinding head?
The supplier says the head can be replaced after heavy wear. One head is included.
