The LumiGuard™ Pro is built for the long walks of an active year — the dawn loop, the after-work dusk pavement, the November field. A neoprene-lined inner cushions the underside of the neck so a wide collar sits comfortably on thinner-coated dogs (lurchers, whippets, short-haired pointers). The outer is a tough printed nylon strap, edge-stitched with a fine reflective thread that catches headlights, torchlight and a phone flash.
Why pet parents choose LumiGuard™ Pro +
- Comfort-focused wide-cut design that doesn't rub or dig in
- Reflective edge stitching for visibility on dusk and night walks
- Built for daily wear — proper hardware, not the cheap plastic alternative
- Easy to adjust for a secure, personalised fit
- Five distinct patterns to suit any dog's personality
Materials & build quality +
- Outer: tough printed nylon strap, sublimation-printed for fade resistance
- Inner: soft neoprene lining (the same material used in wetsuits) — breathable, slightly stretchy, shock-absorbing
- Hardware: black-coated metal pin buckle and D-ring — no plastic clips that crack
- Adjustment: multiple holes on a riveted leather-look strap
- Reflective: retro-reflective edge stitching along both top and bottom edges
What it's for (and what it isn't) +
An everyday flat collar — for ID tag duty, on-lead walks with dogs that don't pull, and evening visibility.
It's not a no-pull or training collar. If your dog pulls hard, please use a properly fitted no-pull harness for the walk and keep the LumiGuard for ID and at-home wear.
For full active LED glow on the darkest nights, take a look at our LumiNocturne™ NightShield harness.
📏 Size guide & breed examples +
Measure round the widest part of your dog's neck with a soft tape, then add roughly 2 cm for two fingers' breathing room. If your dog is between sizes, size up for comfort.
| Size | Neck size | Width | Total length | Breed examples |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| S | 12–15" (31–38 cm) | 1.5" (4 cm) | 17.5" (45 cm) | Italian Greyhound, French Bulldog, Miniature Schnauzer, Cavalier King Charles, Pug |
| M | 15.5–19.5" (40–50 cm) | 2" (5 cm) | 21.5" (55 cm) | Beagle, Border Collie, Cocker Spaniel, Springer, Whippet, Smaller Labrador |
| L | 19.5–23.5" (50–60 cm) | 2" (5 cm) | 25.5" (65 cm) | Labrador, Golden Retriever, German Shepherd, Rottweiler, Larger Boxer |
Breed examples are a guide only — always measure your dog's neck for the most accurate fit. Allow ±1–3 cm in our size measurements.
Note: the S size is still 4 cm wide — best suited to small dogs with a sturdy neck rather than very fine-necked breeds like Chihuahuas or Yorkies, where a narrower collar will sit better.
Pattern options +
Available in five distinct patterns. Every pattern features the same neoprene lining and reflective edge stitching:
- Rainbow Sarape — saturated rainbow vertical stripes, festival-bright.
- Aztec Geo — multi-colour geometric triangles on black.
- Sakura Bloom — pink and white cherry blossom on deep navy.
- Forest Camo — green digital camouflage, the quiet option.
- Painted Stripe — textured brushstroke colours on black.
Care & washing +
Hand-wash in cool water with mild detergent and air-dry away from direct heat. Don't tumble-dry, don't iron, and don't put it through the washing machine — heat will distort the neoprene and dull the reflective thread over time. Wipe the metal hardware dry after a wet walk to prevent spotting.
