A proper chaise for a proper lounger — plush-covered, off the floor, with a backrest to lean into and room to fully stretch out.
Most pet beds sit flat on the floor and look exactly like a pet bed. PawSofa™ is something different — a proper chaise-longue silhouette, scaled for your cat or dog, finished in neutral cream plush that works with any interior. The angled backrest on one end gives your pet something to lean against; the open end lets them stretch their legs to full length without curling up. Four tapered rubber wood legs lift them clear of cold floors, draughts and hard surfaces.
The cushion pad is filled with PP cotton for a supportive-but-soft surface, and the cover removes by zipper for washing — it has a waterproof lining to protect the filling from accidents. The frame is MDF board dressed entirely in the same plush fabric, with anti-skid foot pads on each leg. Available in two sizes to suit cats, small dogs and medium dogs up to 25 kg.

⚠ Size your pet before ordering
Measure your pet's body length (nose to tail base) and compare against the sleeping surface dimensions. The small sleeping area is 67.5 cm long — recommended for pets up to 63 cm body length and up to 20 kg. The large sleeping area is 77.5 cm long — recommended for pets up to 72 cm body length and up to 25 kg. If in doubt between sizes, size up.

Which size should I choose?
Measure your pet's body length from nose to the base of their tail. If they're under 63 cm and under 20 kg, the small will fit comfortably. If they're between 63–72 cm, or if they weigh over 20 kg, go for the large. Most cats and small-to-medium dogs (Cocker Spaniels, French Bulldogs, Corgis) fit the small. Larger breeds (Labrador, Springer Spaniel, Husky) will need the large. If your pet is a sprawler who likes to stretch fully flat, size up.
Is this suitable for cats as well as dogs?
Yes. The small size is ideal for most domestic cats, including larger breeds such as Maine Coons (up to the 18 kg weight limit). Cats tend to appreciate the angled backrest for leaning against, and the elevated platform gives them a slight vantage point over the room — which most cats find reassuring. The plush fabric is soft enough for sensitive paws.
How do I clean it?
The cushion cover unzips completely and can be machine washed. The waterproof lining means liquid accidents don't penetrate the PP cotton filling inside — wipe the lining clean with a damp cloth, then wash the outer cover separately. The frame and backrest are fabric-covered and should be spot-cleaned only with a damp cloth. Do not submerge the frame or the bolster pillow in water.
How difficult is assembly?
Assembly is straightforward — the four rubber wood legs screw into pre-threaded inserts on the underside of the frame. No special tools are needed beyond what's included. Most customers complete assembly in under 10 minutes. The cushion pad and bolster pillow simply place on top — no fixing required.
Will the legs scratch my floor?
Each leg comes with an anti-skid foot pad already fitted. These are soft-base pads that protect hard floors, tiles and laminate from scratches, and prevent the bed from sliding when a pet jumps on or off. If the pads wear over time, standard furniture felt pads (widely available) are compatible replacements.
Is the whole bed waterproof?
The removable cushion cover has a waterproof lining on the inside — this protects the PP cotton filling if an accident happens on the sleeping surface. The outer plush fabric and the frame covering are not waterproof and should be kept dry. For pets prone to accidents, we recommend placing the bed in an easy-to-clean area and washing the cushion cover regularly.
Can it be used outdoors?
PawSofa™ is designed for indoor use. The MDF frame, rubber wood legs and plush fabric are not suitable for prolonged exposure to rain, direct sunlight or damp outdoor conditions. It can be placed on a covered patio or sheltered veranda for short periods, but we do not recommend leaving it outside permanently.
