Three stainless steel bowls. One tilted, raised platform. Wide enough not to squash a cat's whiskers, tilted enough that a flat-faced cat can actually reach the bottom, and raised enough that a senior cat doesn't have to hunch to eat. Mealtime, sorted.
The SniffWaggleNWalk™ Triple-Bowl Elevated Cat Feeder is built around three things cats genuinely appreciate and most feeders get wrong: wide shallow bowls (no whisker fatigue), a 15° tilt (flat-faced breeds can reach the food, senior cats don't neck-strain), and a raised platform (digestion, posture, and fewer floor scuffs).
The frame is a matte-black painted wooden stand with a cat-ear silhouette cut into the back of each bowl holder and a trio of paw-print decals across the base — a little character, not a circus. Three removable stainless steel bowls lift out for rinsing after every meal.
Three bowls, three ways to use them
- One cat: wet food, dry food, and water — all in one station, no cross-contamination.
- Two cats who share: one bowl each plus a shared water bowl in the middle.
- Three easygoing cats: a bowl each at mealtime, side by side.
Honest note: if you have a resource guarder, three bowls side-by-side won't solve it. Food-competitive cats need bowls in separate rooms, not separate bowls — no feeder on the market fixes that, and we won't pretend this one does.
Why the bowls are wide and shallow (whisker fatigue, explained)
Cats' whiskers are full of nerve endings. Deep, narrow bowls squash those whiskers every time they eat, and over time a lot of cats start backing off from food, pawing kibble onto the floor to eat from a flat surface, or going off their meals entirely. It's called whisker fatigue, and the veterinary fix is simple: bowls that are wider than a cat's face and shallow enough that the whiskers never touch the sides. These bowls are 11.95cm across and 3.5cm deep — that's the shape.
If your cat eats with their head tilted sideways, paws food out of the bowl, or leaves a ring of kibble untouched around the edges — that's whisker fatigue. Wide shallow stainless bowls are the fix.
Why the bowls tilt 15°
A 15° forward tilt does three useful things:
- Flat-faced breeds (Persian, Himalayan, Exotic Shorthair, British Shorthair, Scottish Fold) can actually reach the food without pressing their face into the bottom of the bowl.
- Senior cats with a stiff neck or mild arthritis don't have to hunch as far down — the food comes to them, not the other way round.
- Cats with known feeding issues — megaesophagus, regurgitation, post-operative recovery — often do better with a raised, tilted bowl. It's worth a conversation with your vet if this applies.

Cleaning & care
- Lift the bowls out and rinse daily — stainless steel wipes clean in seconds.
- Bowls are dishwasher-safe (top shelf). The wooden stand is not — wipe it down with a damp cloth.
- Rinse the water bowl morning and evening; the shallow shape is generous for a cat but won't see a full day without a top-up.
- Don't soak the stand — the painted finish will lift if left in standing water.

Questions answered
My cat's a messy eater — will this stop food on the floor?
Mostly, yes. Most "messy eating" in cats is whisker fatigue — the cat paws food out of a deep bowl to eat it from a flat surface. Wide shallow bowls solve that. If your cat is still flicking food out after a week of using these, the mess is probably behavioural (playing with food, overzealous eater) rather than whisker-driven, and no bowl will fix that.
Is the tilt adjustable?
No — the 15° tilt is fixed, built into the cat-ear risers. 15° is the angle veterinary literature consistently references for cat feeding posture, so we haven't engineered adjustment in where there's no reason to.
Will it work for my Persian / Exotic Shorthair?
Yes — this is exactly the cat this design is aimed at. Flat-faced (brachycephalic) breeds genuinely struggle with deep bowls and need a forward tilt to reach the food. Many Persian and Exotic owners find their cat starts eating more consistently once they switch.
Is this dishwasher-safe?
The stainless steel bowls, yes (top shelf). The painted wooden stand, no — wipe it with a damp cloth. Don't submerge the stand or the paint will lift over time.
Will it fit two bigger cats side by side?
In most cases, yes — the stand is 42cm wide, so two medium-sized cats (Maine Coon size pushing it) can eat from the outer bowls comfortably. Three cats at once is tight unless they're small or very friendly.
Can I use this for a small dog?
For a very small breed (Chihuahua, Pomeranian, Toy Poodle) it'll work. Anything bigger than that, the bowls are too small and the platform too low. If you've got a medium or large dog, we do separate raised feeders for them — message us and we'll point you at the right one.
How long will delivery take?
6–10 working days to most UK addresses. You'll get a tracking link once the parcel is dispatched — usually within 24–48 hours of ordering.
Wide bowls for the whiskers. A tilt for the face. A raise for the neck. Three at once for the household. A proper bit of mealtime kit.
