It's not a no-pull or training collar, and the D-ring isn't designed to hold a 50 kg dog lunging at full speed. If your dog pulls hard, please use a properly fitted no-pull harness for the walk and keep the IronPaw for ID and at-home wear.
Pulling-trained dogs and dogs that walk politely on the lead are absolutely fine on it.

Leather care & cleaning +
Wipe down with a damp cloth after a wet or muddy walk and let it air-dry away from direct heat — never put leather on a radiator or in the sun to dry. Every few months, work a small amount of leather conditioner (saddle soap or a neutral leather balm) into the strap with a soft cloth to keep it supple and prevent cracking. The antique-copper hardware will deepen in tone with wear; that's the patina developing, not damage.
Don't soak the collar, don't put it through the washing machine, and don't tumble-dry. Leather + heat = trouble.
