PupCam™ POV Dog Camera Harness — GoPro Chest & Back Mount (Fits 7–54kg)

Capturing your dog's actual perspective on a walk — beach runs, woodland sniffs, off-lead zoomies, gundog work, agility. The chest mount gives you the head-up POV (what they're looking at); the back mount gives you the cinematic over-the-shoulder shot of them moving through the world.

Two side-release buckles, four points of strap adjustment and an elasticated section across the back let the harness flex with your dog's stride instead of fighting it. The cotton-lined chest plate sits flat and doesn't rub at the armpits, which is where most camera harnesses fail on a long walk.

Chest mount — looks forward. Best for low-angle ground-level footage; great for terriers, dachshunds, anything close to the floor.

Back mount — sits between the shoulder blades. Best for over-the-shoulder cinematic angle on bigger dogs; less likely to be muddied or wagged at.

Both use the same J-hook + movable base, so you can swap positions in seconds.

Works with any action camera that uses the standard 2-prong GoPro mount, including GoPro Hero 9/10/11/12/13, DJI Osmo Action 3/4/5, and Insta360 X3/X4 (with their built-in GoPro-style adapter).

Not designed for full-size DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, or phones — those are too heavy and won't sit safely.

Wipe the straps down after a muddy walk, or hand-wash in cool water with mild detergent and air-dry. Don't tumble dry — heat will weaken the elastic. The plastic mount and buckles are splash-resistant; rinse them under the tap if they get sandy.

Introduce the harness gradually — let your dog wear it un-mounted around the house for a few short sessions before the first walk. Always check the strap fit (two fingers between strap and dog) and never leave a dog unattended in any harness.

Not designed as a walking/lead harness — it doesn't have a lead-attachment ring. Use alongside your normal walking setup.

Does it come with a camera?
No. The harness is the mount only. It fits any GoPro-compatible action camera you already own.

Will it fit my dog?
The straps adjust to fit dogs from roughly 7 kg (small terrier / French bulldog) up to 54 kg (large lab / rottie). Measure round the chest behind the front legs and check against the fit guide before ordering.

Can I use it for swimming?
The straps and mount are fine for splashing, paddling and rain. Whether the camera survives is down to the camera — most modern GoPro/DJI/Insta360 units are rated for it; check yours.

Does it have a lead ring?
No — it's a camera-mount harness, not a walking harness. Pair it with your usual walking harness or a flat collar.

Is the camera held on tight enough that it won't fall off?
The J-mount and screw lock the camera in place; the included safety tether straps round the camera body as a backup. We'd still recommend a sticky float or a bright tether strap if you're filming near deep water.
