Wide, padded fit
The extra width spreads pressure across more of the neck instead of concentrating it in a thin line, which matters most on breeds that pull hard on the lead — Labradors, German Shepherds, and Weimaraners in particular. The inner lining is padded rather than bare webbing, so it stays comfortable through a full walk, not just the first five minutes.
Reflective stitching
Woven through the full length of the collar, not just a single patch, so it catches headlights and torchlight from more angles. Useful for anyone walking a dark-coated dog like a Rottweiler or Doberman on an unlit street before work or after dinner.
Breathable polyester blend
Air gets through underneath the collar rather than trapping heat and damp against the fur, which helps on longer walks or in warmer weather — a common complaint with thick leather collars on short-haired breeds like Boxers or Dobermans.

Honest notes
Measure, don't guess: Breed is a rough guide only — individual dogs vary a lot within a breed. Measure your dog's neck with a soft tape (snug, not tight) before choosing a size, and size up if you're between two.
Not for small or toy breeds: The smallest size starts at a 31cm neck. This collar isn't made for Chihuahuas, Pomeranians, or similar small breeds — the width alone would overwhelm a small neck.
Not leather: This is a padded polyester blend, not leather. It's lighter, easier to wipe clean, and doesn't need breaking in, but it won't develop the same worn-in look leather does over time.

Will this fit my dog?
It depends on neck size, not breed alone. M fits a 31–43cm neck (Border Collies, Springer Spaniels and similar), L fits 41–52cm (Labradors, German Shepherds), and XL fits 48–60cm (Dobermans, Weimaraners, Rottweilers). Measure your dog's neck with a soft tape before ordering rather than going on breed alone — there's real variation within every breed.
How do I clean it?
Wipe it down with a damp cloth for everyday dirt, or hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent for a deeper clean. Air dry fully before putting it back on — avoid tumble drying or direct heat, which can affect the buckle and stitching over time.
Is this suitable for puppies?
Only for a puppy that's already reached the M size neck measurement (31cm+) and is a medium-to-large breed. Growing puppies change neck size quickly, so check the fit regularly and size up as needed rather than buying ahead for a fully grown dog.
Does it work with an ID tag?
Yes — the D-ring holds a standard ID tag or lead clip the same as any buckle collar. It isn't sold with a tag included, so you'll need to add your own if your dog doesn't already have one.
