SniffWaggleNWalk TwinWalk™ · Two-Dog Lead Coupler · Fixed or Adjustable
One lead. Two dogs. Both hands still free for the coffee.
The TwinWalk™ is a Y-shaped lead coupler — one ring at the top clips to your existing lead handle or a standard carabiner, and two arms hang down with a chrome snap hook on each. Clip one hook to each dog's harness and you're walking two dogs with one hand. No second lead dangling, no tangled loops, no juggling. Choose the fixed 40cm arm style for dogs of similar size and pace, or the adjustable 30–50cm style if your two dogs need different amounts of space between them.
Two styles — fixed or adjustable
The fixed 1.5cm×40cm style keeps both dogs at equal distance — good for two dogs of similar size and walking pace, like two Labradors or two Cocker Spaniels walking together. The adjustable 2cm×30–50cm style lets you dial each arm independently, so if one dog walks closer and one further, or if one is a Pug and the other a Border Collie, you can give each one the right amount of space.
Clips to your existing lead
The D-ring at the top clips onto the snap hook of any standard lead — your RoamLine™ retractable, a fixed nylon lead, a rope lead, anything with a standard hook. No need to replace your existing lead; the TwinWalk™ adds a second connection point to what you already use.
Chrome swivel snap hooks
Both arm ends have chrome swivel snap hooks — the swivel allows each arm to rotate freely as your dogs move, which dramatically reduces twisting and tangling compared to a fixed hook. Small dogs like Chihuahuas and Yorkies tend to spin and change direction constantly; the swivel means the lead follows them rather than kinking up.
Durable nylon webbing
Both styles are woven nylon webbing — the 1.5cm fixed style suits smaller breeds up to around 20kg total, and the wider 2cm adjustable suits slightly heavier or more active dogs. Clean with a wipe-down; the nylon dries quickly after wet walks and doesn't rot or stretch with repeated use.
12 colours
Available across both styles in Red, Black, Pink, Blue, Fluorescent Green, Army Green, and Lake Blue for the fixed style — and Black, Lake Blue, Purple, Red, and Rose Pink for the adjustable style. Match your existing leads, or give each dog their own colour to tell the arms apart at a glance.

Honest notes
Works best when both dogs walk at roughly the same pace. If one dog is significantly faster or stronger than the other — say a young Husky with an older Beagle — the stronger dog's pulling transfers to the other. A coupler works best for two dogs of similar size and energy, or two well-trained dogs who walk calmly on a lead.
Not suitable for dogs that pull hard. The 1.5cm fixed style is designed for small to medium breeds up to around 20kg total combined weight. For two strong pullers like Boxers or German Shepherds, a purpose-built double lead with a wider, padded handle (like the DuoWalk™) will be more comfortable and safer.
The coupler shortens the effective walking distance between your dogs. Both dogs are attached to the same point — they'll naturally walk closer together than they would on separate leads. Some dogs find this fine; others who prefer space from each other may be stressed. Test briefly before committing to longer walks.
Always attach to harnesses, not collars. If one dog pulls or lunges, the force is partially transferred to the other dog via the coupler. Attaching to harnesses rather than collars protects both dogs' necks.
Is this right for you?
✅ Right for you if…
- You have two calm, lead-trained dogs of similar size — Labradors, Spaniels, Cockapoos
- You want to walk both dogs on one lead without buying a completely new double lead
- Your dogs walk well together and are comfortable close to each other
- You want a low-cost, lightweight solution for occasional dual walking
❌ Not for you if…
- Either dog is a strong puller — consider the DuoWalk™ bungee double lead instead
- Your two dogs have very different sizes or walking paces
- Your dogs don't get on well or need space from each other
- You regularly walk on busy roads where individual control is critical
Pairs well with

Questions & answers
Which style should I choose — fixed or adjustable?
Choose fixed (1.5cm×40cm) if your two dogs are similar in size and walk at a similar pace — two Labradors, two Cockapoos, two Pugs. Choose adjustable (2cm×30–50cm) if one dog tends to walk ahead and one stays close, or if one is notably smaller than the other — for example a Golden Retriever and a Miniature Schnauzer walking together.
How does it attach to my lead?
The D-ring at the top of the coupler clips onto the snap hook at the end of any standard lead. Your lead stays in your hand as normal — the TwinWalk™ hangs below it, each arm reaching down to clip to one dog's harness.
Can I use it with a retractable lead?
Yes — clip the TwinWalk™ to the snap hook of your retractable lead. Both dogs will extend and retract together, so it works best when both dogs like to explore at a similar pace. Note that the coupler adds arm length between the retractable lead's clip and each dog, so you'll have a little less effective range.
Is it suitable for large breeds?
The fixed 1.5cm style is best for small to medium breeds — two dogs up to around 20kg total combined weight works well. Breeds like Beagles, Cocker Spaniels, Whippets, and French Bulldogs walk comfortably with it. For two larger or more powerful dogs like Boxers, Retrievers, or German Shepherds, the DuoWalk™ bungee double lead with its wider, padded handle and bungee absorption is a better fit.
